About the event

Please join the Inclusive Housing Coalition for a free webinar featuring a comprehensive presentation on the Kelsey Civic Center, an urban residential community offering 112 homes for people with and without disabilities of all incomes and backgrounds. Located across from San Francisco City Hall opened in April 2025. 


You will hear from two representatives from The Kelsey, a disability forward affordable housing developer and advocate for inclusive housing.

Louisa Bukiet, Housing Development Manager, The Kelsey


As a Housing Development Manager at The Kesley, Louisa Bukiet manages co-development of The Kelsey's housing developments and technical assistance projects for public, private, and non-profit clients. Throughout her career in the built environment, Louisa has worked on a variety of design and engineering projects at all scales, but is most excited when working on the ways shared spaces bring people together to form communities. Louisa grew up in New York City and has lived in the Bay Area for over a decade. She has a BA from Brown University in Architecture and Masters’ degrees in Structural Engineering from Stanford University and Real Estate Development from UC Berkeley.



Kyle Seem, Inclusive Design Manager, The Kelsey


Kyle Seem is the Inclusive Design Manager at The Kelsey, where her primary role is to support the application of the Inclusive Design Standards in The Kelsey’s projects and with their partners across the country. She has a background in architectural design and computer programming, and believes every built environment can be accessible, inclusive, functional, and beautiful. Kyle lives in Bellingham, WA, with her partner Jacob, their cat Marley, and their dog Bagel. In her spare time, she loves to crochet, go on nature walks, and play video games.
