Multifamily rental housing for individuals and households with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD)
 

Description:

The building will include 32 One- and Two-bedroom units for individuals with IDD and those who live with their caretaker. Both the first and second floor of the building will include a lot of amenity space that is specifically designed for people with IDD, for example, sensory pods, a lounge, kitchen, classroom, service room, a private patio with a walking path and a designated ride pick-up area.  BCHA has been working with an IDD consultant, Neuro-inclusive Housing Solutions, who has been essential in informing the design and layout of the building.
